Christmas Cards

Flower1 (1)Christmas CardFlower1 (3)Flower1 (4)

Here’s an assortment of cards that I made.  I needed to make 20 cards in one day for my mom so I chose to limit my choice in supplies and keep it clean and simple.

All items are A Muse|Studio.

Warm wishes!

Homemade Gifts

I love receiving and making homemade gifts.  There’s something about the thought and time involved that makes it a little more special.  Not that I would be upset if a laptop or an iPad found it’s way under my tree! Winking smile

Two lucky ladies soon will be smelling like apple pie and have baby soft skin after using the Vanilla Cinnamon Sugar Scrub that I made.  I found the recipe on a blog and for the life of me, can’t remember which one.  If you want to make a similar one, just use Google and you’ll find tons of recipes.

Scrub1

Scrub2

I started off by using the Word Art in Word to create my circular text and sized it to match my punch.  Then, I used the pink Marvy scallop circle punch for the base (‘Twas the Night Before Christmas paper), then the blue Marvy circle punch (kraft), and then I colored some paper flowers with Copics, found a cute buttercup buttons and used a little twine so my button wouldn’t be naked!  Easy peasy.

Happy Holidays!  Hope you get to spend them with the ones you love.

Mittens…

photo9

I’m a bit obsessed with a couple things…mostly dies and felt.  I can’t seem to get enough!

I used ‘twas the night before Christmas for the base of the card, then I added a strip of cherry woodgrain that I used the large scallop border die on.  Next I added a strip of vanilla that I stamped warm wishes on.  I used the small mitten die and flipped the felt over on the second one to get a mirror image.  Added a couple small snowflakes from the snowflake trio dies, a little bling and baker’s twine and the card was done.

All items A Muse|Studio.

Warm wishes!

Happy Thanksgiving

I’d like to thank you for reading my blog.  The paper crafting community is very supportive and encouraging and I’m so thrilled to be a part of it.

Pumpkin

I was inspired by the glitter pumpkin that was featured on the Spotlight for Halloween that I decided to make one for Thanksgiving using the cranberry glitter.  The picture doesn’t really show how sparkly it is in real life.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Happy Howl-o-ween!

A few weeks ago, I posted a scrapbook layout for Halloween.  I thought I would show the final layout with the picture.

Barkley Howloween 2011

Barkley was a good boy and patiently sat while I took a few pics.  Then the costume had to come off!

A really easy project is to make a decorated sleeve for things like candy and popcorn.  It takes a normal item and ups the fun factor!

Halloween Popcorn

My mom put together twenty gift bags for local hospice patients and I made the tags.

Halloween Tags

All items are A Muse.  Send me an email (angiegypsy at comcast dot net) if you want the details!

Also, I was able to take the intermediate Copic certfication on Saturday and learn from the incredibly talented Colleen Schaan and Maryann Walker!  I’ve never colored so much in one day, but I learned so much!  Contact me if you want to learn more about Copics.

Have a safe Halloween!
