UTCYHC - Snow Angel

Welcome to the first post in the Use the Carts You Have Challenge. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas. I thought I would kick off this challenge by sharing some Christmas decorations I made just before my family arrived for Christmas!

I used the Imagine Art Cartridge Snow Angel for the background paper as well as the images. I printed the combined image and then the layers and used pop dots to add a little something.

The frames were from a big pack of 8 frames from Walmart so this was a very inexpensive project to add a little more holiday cheer to my living room.

Use the Carts You Have Challenge

I'm challenging myself to use every Cricut cartridge that I own. I have around 100 carts so I'll try to post 2 projects a week and by the end of the year I'll have used each one at least once! Everyone is welcome to join me in the Use the Carts You Have Challenge.

The first project will be posted this weekend.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Simple Christmas Cards Series - Day 8

This is my final post of the Simple Christmas Cards series. I hope it gave you some ideas on how to incorporate you Cricut Imagine into your holiday card making.

I made to Let It Snow cards with different background papers. The one on the left is from the Memory Box Tinsel collection and the one on the right is from the Imagine More Cards cartridge. The sentiment is from Winter Frolic. I ran the N and the W thru the Xyron upside down and then dusted the letters in white fun flock to add some wintery warmness. The buttons for the O are from Recollections.

Simple Christmas Cards Series - Day 7

My inspiration for this card came from the Winter Frolic handbook project. I changed it up a bit to be able to use the Cricut Imagine and more carts. I used the Christmas Cards cart for the card base with Imagine More Cards for the color. I used the Winter Frolic cart, so cute for the ornament. Some clear bling on the white areas and busted out the Cuttlebug to use the polka dots folder. Love, love, love this folder. It's a little larger than Swiss Dots, but not as big as Seeing Spots. The ribbon is from Papertrey Ink.
